Your banjo playing is WAY better on this recording. Maybe the sound quality would be better if you pulled the microphone out of your ass.

Very very nice sound. It felt a little slow at first, but when the chords came in i decided it was just right. The slide-things at about a minute totally tie it all together, I think. Are those done on an acoustic banjo? Or electric? I can't figure it out! Newgrounds needs more from the Babb Boys!

Thanks for the review! The instrument is called a Dobro, and it's often heard in Louisiana swamp music and some Texas style music. I haven't heard it too much in country, but I guess people just don't know what's good anymore.

i'm sure someone else has already asked, but i'm way too lazy to search through the other reviews to find out. is it a banjocaster or a synth? and is it the same thing for hillbilly breakout? these two songs are my new favorites, not just on newgrounds but like i burned them to a cd and play them in my car.
